The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox: Trim Level Breakdown

Two powertrains, both featuring a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, are available for this new Chevy SUV. The first option includes front-wheel drive (FWD) and a continuously variable transmission (CVT), outputting 175 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The second option, which features all-wheel drive (AWD) and an eight-speed automatic transmission, achieves 175 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. Max towing capacity is 1,500lbs.

2026 Chevrolet Equinox LT

This entry-level trim is exceptionally well equipped. Its exterior amenities include 17-inch machined-face wheels, remote start, and heated exterior mirrors. The many highlights of this midrange trim include a flat-bottom steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, and a hands-free liftgate. Plus, you can upgrade its standard 19-inch wheels to 20-inch machined wheels. Perhaps the biggest addition though is the Midnight Edition style package, which adds black mirrors, moldings, badging, and emblems.
