Every new GMC Yukon XL engine pairs with a ten-speed automatic transmission and is available in rear or all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive 5.3-liter V-8 engine configuration has the highest towing capacity topping out at 8,400 lbs. The other two engine options can tow an impressive 8,200 lbs.

A Comfy Cabin

 

On the inside of the 2025 GMC Yukon XL you will find CoreTec® and perforated leather seat trims. In the higher trims, 16-way power adjustable front seats with heated, ventilated and massaging functionality and open-pore wood trims are included. The AT4 trim features full-grain leather in all three rows. Second-row captain's chairs are available as well although it decreases passenger capacity to seven.
